Business and Administration NVQ
Would you like to help your employees develop into highly skilled, highly effective business people?Look no further… our centres can now offer the Business and Administration National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) at level 2.
The qualification has two elements:
- online courses – which provide the underpinning knowledge, and
- a work-based competence assessment – leading to an NVQ at level 2.
What will your staff learn?
Your employees can choose from a broad range of units. This flexibility allows both employees and employers to choose units that focus on the areas that are most relevant to their role, industry or organisation. Units include:
- working within a business environment
- working effectively with other people
- managing a diary system
- maintaining customer relations
- storing, retrieving and archiving information
- research and report writing
- organising and supporting meetings
- using a telephone system and office equipment
Customer Service NVQ
Would you like to ensure your employees make the right impression with customers? You can spend time and resources on acquiring new customers but unless all your employees understand how to keep existing ones, you could have difficulty building up your customer base.
What will your staff learn?
There is a choice of three courses which provide the underpinning knowledge for the NVQ.
The courses cover the latest thinking on the skills needed to deal with a range of customers. They will enable employees to deal with a variety of customer service situations on a day-to-day basis.
Your employees will:
- recognise the importance of customer service in retaining customers
- understand how to enhance the organisation's reputation so that you acquire more customers
- understand the important concept of the internal customer
- be able to evaluate and improve their customer service skills
- enhance the customer experience.
In essence, it's all about improving your business through delivering customer satisfaction.
Information Technology Qualification (ITQ)
Would you like improved employee IT skills? An ITQ can help your business get the most from technology.
Flexible approach to IT
When it comes to developing IT skills within your business, one size does not fit all. IT needs vary from business to business and from job to job. Completing an ITQ will give your employees the chance to develop the IT skills they need to do a better job, making more use of your IT systems and supporting your organisation's IT strategy.
The ITQ has been devised to allow for different skills to be learned and assessed at different levels – from word processing and spreadsheet skills to bespoke units which focus on specific organisational software. This improves individual employee skills and can help accelerate the uptake of new technology within your business.
You can also include bespoke modules to focus on unique business-specific software to ensure improved productivity and a better return from your investment in technology.
No time wasted covering old ground
To save time and resources where employees already have an IT user qualification, they can use it to count towards the ITQ. This allows employees to build and develop their skills to meet your needs without having to face the de-motivating prospect of starting again or having to demonstrate skills they've already had assessed.
