New Projects update
WE are now an Edexcel centre
EDEXCEL
Edexcel, a Pearson company, is the UK's largest awarding body offering academic and vocational qualifications and testing to schools, colleges, employers and other places of learning in the UK and internationally.
Training Providers
We can help you grow your business by providing simple and straightforward qualifications that will meet the training needs of your customers’ businesses.
Flexibility is the key – we're committed to lifting standards without seeking to standardise training with a blanket ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach.
Where appropriate, we’re always delighted to recommend a high quality training provider to employers looking to outsource their training requirements.
NVQs
NVQs are flexible, competence-based qualifications achieved through assessment and training that are completed at work, through a training provider, at college, or often as part of an Apprenticeship. They are based on National Occupational Standards, which set out best practice for job roles in each particular sector.
Our NVQs are designed to benefit everyone involved – the learner, the training provider, the employer and the FE college. They interface with our broad portfolio of other vocational qualifications such as BTECs, Apprenticeships, and Key Skills – giving learners scope to fulfil their individual potential.
WorkSkills from Edexcel is a flexible new suite of units offering learners the opportunity to gain relevant, job-related skills. WorkSkills helps people acquire the soft skills that we know employers are looking for: adaptability, a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude, objectivity about strengths and weaknesses and a willingness to continue learning throughout their working lives.
GET ONLINE DAY
We recently hosted a 'get online day' for individuals. It encourages people to be involved in education and training and to advance their skills in ICT at our training centres. This was a successful day and many people have now enrolled onto ICT beginner and advanced courses.
