What is the new CLAiT?
New CLAiT is part of the CLAiT suite, which is a package of qualifications offered by the Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations (OCR). It's one of the UK's largest awarding bodies and has been offering CLAiT for nearly 20 years.
The CLAiT suit is regularly updates to keep up with changes in technology and to ensure its relevance for employees and employers alike.
Over three million people in the UK have been awarded a CLAiT qualification- that makes it the country's most popular computer qualification.
The course and qualifications to suit you
New CLAiT 2006 lets you tailor the qualification to match your own needs. You have to do one core unit- File management and e-document production- along with further units that you can choose yourself from the menu. If you choose two further units you can get the New CLAiT 2006 certificate, but choose four, and you could get the New CLAiT 2006 Diploma.
The flexibility means your New CLAiT 2006 qualification really will give you the specific skills you need to achieve your personal goals.

The flexible way to learn
Each course takes around 12 hours to do, and you can do the different units one by one and in any order you choose. You then simply complete a short practical assignment for each unit at an accredited OCR CLAiT centre. For these assignments you will be given a practical task to complete using the chosen software. The friendly, relaxed and supportive environment at our centre will make you feel at home, so there'll be none of the stress you might associate with traditional exams.
