Number skills check

This is an easy way to check the skills you already have and see which ones you need to improve. It gives you a great idea of what computer-based learning is like. Once completed it will also help you choose the courses that are right for you. It covers a range of topics and will show the learning you need to do before getting a qualification.

Number direct

Numbers direct helps you develop the math skills you use in everyday life. You can pick-and-mix the sections, choosing the parts that will help you and leaving out the parts that you're already good at. It's up to you weather you do the whole course or just pick from the topics on offer. Just some of the areas covered in the course are fractions, decimals and percentages.

Using percentages

Using percentages helps you get to grips with percentages, fractions and ratios through a range of real life scenarios. There are several different levels to this course.

Measuring up

This course is a great way to brush up on your measuring skills. You will learn how to measure and calculate capacity, weight, length, time, area, volume and temperature. These skills could really help you at work. Weather you are a carer who needs to take a patient's temperature, or a chef who needs to weigh ingredients accurately, this course gives you all the measuring skills you need.

The numbers game

The numbers games lets you put the number skills you've learnt into practical situations, such as working out your shopping bill. You'll watch a video which sets puzzles and exercises and shows your new skills can be used in real life.

Maxtrax

Just like on an arcade game, enter your own car into the races. Choose from the different levels of maths questions and complete the different rally and race tracks.
